Four Days Past the 3rd Anniversary of my very First NaNoWriMo
I'm in a (hopefully) final edit of Scrambled Brains - which I've suspended working on for now. This new project is right on time and I needed the break from editing, yet now I'm feeling a little that a synopsis of the work reflects the adage: "I took a Deep Breath and Let it go". Of course, I suppose too that could depend on your interpretation of "it".
Tonight after dinner I need to write 5,000 words detailing the Hobo's heritage and then to update my NaNoWriMo word count for The Legend of the Game Preserve Bridge Road by tomorrow morning. I also need tonight to soon post an update here of what The Legend of the Game Preserve Bridge Road is about. Of course, for that though I suppose you could always look at my NaNoWriMo page

Proper Punctuation is Power
Mrs. Elder, my 1974 college English professor, encouraged me to write better. On the first day of English 201 at Montgomery College, she started class by writing these words on the blackboard:
"A woman without her man is nothing"
Our in-class writing assignment was "to punctuate it correctly".
Most the males in the class wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."
All the females in the class wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."
True story!
