A little Research…

Blog this Serial Killer conversations… going into my as yet unnamed planned prequel to The Legend of The Game Preserve Bridge Road:

Serial killers have a tendency to:

  • Plan their crime carefully, giving thought to escape routes and body disposal
  • Carefully select and stalk their victims
  • Prefer strangers as victims
  • Engage in controlled conversation with the victim
  • Capture their victims, kill them, and dispose of their bodies at separate locations
  • Use restraints, often bringing them to the crime scene
  • Come prepared with weapons
  • Commit sexual offences with a living victim
  • Attempt to extensively control the victim through manipulation or threats, and desire a show of fear from their victim
  • Use a vehicle
  • Commit their crimes far away from their residence
  • Study police investigation techniques
  • Become more proficient in the commission of their crime with time

Sequel to the Legend of the Game Preserve Bridge Road in planning

ATT00069

This is a filling station about 7 miles from  the railroad bridge setting in my sequel to  The Legend of the Game Preserve Bridge Road – an as yet untitled work in progress with plot and character development  in process as young 15 year old high school student  Heather Thayer goes to a party one night  and is later   found brutally murdered; at this time the project  for November 2012’s NaNoWriMo effort.

Today

I decided to stop fighting my inner demons over moving away from the DC Metro area, where I’ve literally  spent most of life and  laid roots.

Seriously, we’re on the same side now.

Fred’s Friday Factoid

I’m back and still kicking. Things are slowly returning back to normal as I’m settling in after relocating from the Nation's Capital to Missouri.

Travelling

I’m going to work for IBM in  Columbia Missouri; long ways from the comforts and love of “home”.  Currently tad more upset than excited, but this will pass as my 2 adult sons elected to relocate with. One will be enrolling in the CJ program at MU soon.  I’m so proud yet scared that one of my fine  boys wants to be a  Police Officer. Regrets it will be hard to keep up with “Postaday”, until we get into out new diggs,  early next Monday or  Tuesday.

A Quiet Sunday to Myself…

A quiet day to myself…  37 degrees outside now, back inside with my  senior coffee in hand: two equals, 2 creams for the paltry sum $0.53, brought  back from a moderately  nippy walk to  McDonald’s;   before children I used to look forward to  some occasional quiet, alone time on Black Hills Lake  in  my 18 foot  Coleman canoe, and though  I sometimes desperately feel the need for   the time to myself,  my boys are growing  up so quickly, the feeling is today  I’d like to throw life  into low gear & slow it down if I could.

Commencing the (hopefully) Final Edit of My Cookbook Today

Title_no abstract

Abstract: Delicious and great tasting recipes, most all made in less than 10 minutes, with 10 or less ingredients, concocted in 10 or less steps, blended with a healthy smattering of intimate, innermost, thoughtful and insightful reflections on raising Children alone as a Single Parent in the 21st Century

Insanity...

... is those random thoughts of madness that fly whimsically free-form  through your  mind as those wild, unconstrained and unfettered reflections  in the privacy of  your imagination or thoughts  when you can't sleep at at 3AM worrying about your survival and the  safety of your children
